The first place to start when setting up a website is with a domain name: your www. Careful consideration must be applied when choosing a domain name; it is not common knowledge for example that particularly long names are not considered search engine friendly, and that addresses including a dash are not the best choice.

Amount of web space required

The size of your website: how many pages, images and videos it has; determines how much web space you need. This is usually anything from 100MB to 10GB.

Bandwidth

Whenever a visitor hits your website, data will be transferred.
