Bring your Website to Life with Flash Animation

Bring your Website to Life with Flash Animation - Image by Scott Maxwell

Have you ever visited a website and been blown away by its visual effects? If so, the chances are Flash animation has been used to make the site more visually stimulating and interactive. But apart from looking impressive, what are the benefits of incorporating Flash animation into your website?

Clear Demonstrations

A talented copywriter may be able to effectively communicate what you want to say without the need for graphics. But in some cases, all the words in the world may not be enough to get across what you feel needs to be said on your website. After all, seeing is believing. This is why for many industries; Flash animation is used online to actually demonstrate a product working as if it was there in front of you. Saying a product can perform a task is one thing; actually seeing it in action is another.

Web designers can use Flash to create anything from presentations to animated tutorials, so remember to ask for their advice.

Customer Interaction

If you have ever bought clothes online then you will know there is nothing worse than seeing a static picture of say the front of a t-shirt, buying it, then on delivery discovering there is a print or logo on the back that you were not aware of. One way around this is to have a Flash website feature which allows a 360 degree shot of your product, so the customer can see the top, bottom, back and front. Being able to move and see all parts of what is on sale is a clever way to get people interacting and interested in your product.

Memorable Experience

What would you be more likely to remember? A poorly designed website consisting of a few words, or a flash and 3D animation website with many interactive features and presentations which explains how something works through showing as well as telling? An interactive website or multimedia presentation alongside compelling copy will never fail to grab attention and provide a memorable audience experience.

All websites are different. Some websites simply do not need Flash. Others would benefit from it greatly. Talk to your website design team about Flash animation and whether it would enhance your site. If so, they should be able to create a truly unique and user friendly experience for your visitors which will live long in their memories, leading to return visits and increased online sales.
